    I research a lot of presenters and so many completely miss the connection between presenting themselves in person and doing so online. If I know a presenter personally, I know they can deliver. But it can be embarrassing to send a colleague a link to the website of a presenter I’m recommending, and know they’re going to have a bad first impression. And if I don’t know the presenter at all, I don’t think much of their ability to connect with an audience if they have a poorly laid out and formatted site.

    I was on Candy Whirley’s website today as another speaker had recommended her for a presentation. I was really wowed by her site. It was easy to navigate and easy to find the most important thing to me; videos of her work. When she and I spoke, I complimented the site and she told me it was all your doing. She said you’d helped her see the importance of a quality online presence and made it happen. Just wanted to say – well done!
