In collaboration with The National Center For Drug Free Sport (a client), Allure was asked to pitch a concept for the development of an online drug education tutorial that would teach all MLB players the policies and procedures of MLB’s Drug Prevention & Treatment Program. The tutorial needed to not only be educational, but have a back-end data structure that would allow MLB to track player data and run a report on who has completed the tutorial.
Who knows why MLB would want some sort of paper trail confirming that players understand their drug policies…
Allure was given the green light to produce our concept, an interactive animation that emulated a batting-practice environment. Players would begin the tutorial on the field ready to receive their first pitch. Continue scrolling to see the remaining screenshots.

The ball is pitched and zooms to become the screen/background for the drug tutorial Q & A.

After completing the tutorial and watching the brief fireworks show, players are able to print a dynamic PDF Certificate of Completion with their name on it. I’m sure they’ll be framing it.
